The Rare Genetic Diseases Research Summit (REDRESS) 2025 is a national-level, two-day summit bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, policymakers, industry leaders, and patient advocates from across India to advance the agenda for Rare Genetic Diseases (RGDs). The summit will spotlight cutting-edge developments in RGD diagnostics, research, and care, while shaping strategies to improve outcomes for patients and families.
Organised by the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society (TIGS) in collaboration with the Organization for Rare Diseases India (ORDI), REDRESS 2025 builds on the momentum of its previous editions to create an even more impactful forum. This uniquely Indian platform will foster knowledge exchange, cross-sector dialogue, and sustained collaborations across the RGD ecosystem.

Guidelines
- Abstract body: max 250 words, excluding title, authors, affiliations, and references. Use Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced. Up to 3 references, if required.
- Submission only via the official online form (email submissions will not be accepted).
- Abstracts will be evaluated by the REDRESS Scientific Committee.
- Presenting (first) author must complete delegate registration upon selection.
- No submission fee.
- Boarding and lodging will be covered for one presenter per accepted abstract. Travel to/from venue must be self-arranged.

Is there a registration fee?
Yes.

How do I submit an abstract?
Go to the “Abstract” page and follow the guidelines. You can submit under predefined categories via a Google Form.
Can I present if my abstract is accepted?
Yes, shortlisted abstracts will be presented during dedicated oral/poster sessions. Certificates will be issued.
Do I get a participation certificate?
Yes, certificates will be awarded to all registered attendees who attend 70% or more of the sessions.
Can I attend virtually?
Select sessions will be live-streamed. Virtual access details will be shared closer to the event.
Are travel or accommodation provided?
No. Attendees are expected to arrange their own travel and stay. However, discounted rates at partner hotels will be shared.
Can I attend only one day?
Yes, day-wise attendance is allowed but full registration is required.
What are PAG Corners?
They are dedicated spaces for Patient Advocacy Groups to share their work, conduct sessions, and network with stakeholders.

Accommodation is provided for one presenter per accepted abstract. Travel to and from the venue must be arranged by the participant.
What is a PAG Corner?
PAG Corners are dedicated spaces where Patient Advocacy Groups can showcase their work, have discussions, and engage with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
